Luzerne County’s Election Board scheduled a special meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday to certify the May 19 primary election results.

Every Friday, Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas Judge Joseph F. Sklarosky Jr. and a team of a dozen or so huddle around a large table inside the courthouse for hours, often working through lunch.

Luzerne County’s administration is progressing in the first phase of the Nanticoke/West Nanticoke Bridge project, according to a Friday release.

WILKES-BARRE — The main stat, obviously, was the final score Monday night — Holy Redeemer 52, Lake-Lehman 40.

DALLAS TWP. — It was about 10 minutes into the game Tuesday night, and the Dallas Mountaineers looked like they were in trouble.

The Wyoming Valley Conference will have another head coaching opening among its 12 football teams.
