Luzerne County’s new Community Planning and Economic Development Division Head Ted Ritsick said Thursday he is reviewing a proposed data center zoning amendment before it goes to County Council for consideration.

Restoration of a $5 vehicle registration fee and planning for a countywide reassessment are among the financial recommendations in a new proposed Luzerne County strategic plan prepared by the Pennsylvania Economy League.

Plymouth resident Megan Kocher was elected the new Luzerne County Democratic Party chair during Wednesday’s reorganization meeting, representatives said.
