Charney graduates from Ithaca College

ITHACA, NY — Lauren Charney, Harveys Lake, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ithaca College with a bachelor of science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.

Benedetti named to dean’s list

READING — Leah Benedetti, Dallas, was named to the dean’s list at Alvernia University for the spring 2018 semester as a senior. Benedetti studied Occupational Therapy at Alvernia and is a graduate of Dallas Senior High School.

Maria named to dean’s list

BETHLEHEM — Charlotte Maria, of Wyoming, has been named to the dean’s list at Lehigh University for the spring 2018 semester.

Doggett receives fellowship

Michel Doggett, of Harveys Lake, is a 2018-2019 recipient of a Levi Sprague Fellowship at Wyoming Seminary. The fellowship represents the highest honor that the school bestows for leadership service.

Podlaszewski graduates from Grantham

LENEXA, Kansas — Angela Podlaszewski, of Dallas, graduated with an online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Grantham University, a 100% online university.

Goode receives bachelor’s degree GREENVILLE, NC — Brian Goode, of Dallas, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication from East Carolina University during spring commencement exercises May 4 in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.

Locals honored for Spanish achievements

KINGSTON – Wyoming Seminary Upper School students recently were honored for their achievements in Spanish, based on their scores in the 2018 National Spanish Examination. Back Mountain students honored were, Abigail Santo, Dallas; Christina Kaspar, Dallas; Delaney Romanchick, Tunkhannock, and Nicole Amoachi, Shavertown.

Dillon named to dean’s list

Beverly, MA — Catherine Dillon, of Dallas, was named to Endicott College’s dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester.

Dillon is a sophomore majoring in Hospitality Management. She is a daughter of Dave Dillon and Pamela Oliveira.

Siegel earns art award

KINGSTON — Caroline Siegel, of Dallas, a rising sophomore at Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School, recently earned the Fern Poole Davies ’43 Award in Art. The prize is awarded annually to a student artist whose work is chosen in a competition open to the entire Upper School student body. The artwork becomes part of the school’s permanent collection and is displayed on campus.

Berger receives degree

KINGSTON, RI — Abigail Elizabeth Berger, of Dallas, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Diroders Cum Laude from the University of Rhode Island.

Curtin graduates from Loyola

BALTIMORE, MD — Caitlin Curtin, of Shavertown, has been named to the spring 2018 dean’s list at Loyola University Maryland. She is a member of the Class of 2019.
