Vasey named to dean’s list

INDIANA — Clayton Vasey was named to the dean’s list at Indiana University of Pennsylvania for the spring 2018 semester. This is Vasey’s fourth straight time earning dean’s list distinction by maintaining a 4.0-grade point average.

Vasey, son of Darryl and Wendy Vasey, is a 2016 Lake-Lehman High School graduate and valedictorian. He will start medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in next July. He plans on becoming a research oncologist.

Cybulski earns a bachelor degree from University of the Sciences

PHILADELPHIA — Stephanie Cybulski, of Dallas, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in pharmaceutical and healthcare studies degree from University of the Sciences and was recognized at a bachelor’s degree conferment ceremony May 18. Cybulski continues on in the doctor of pharmacy program.

Horwatt named to dean’s list

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Meredith Marie Horwatt, of Dallas, has been named to the dean’s list at Charleston Southern University for the spring 2018 semester. She is a senior majoring in Music Therapy, Voice.

Fromel inducted to Phi Beta Kappa

ALLENTOWN — Michele Fromel, of Dallas, was inducted into the Muhlenberg College chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious honorary society in America.

Stearns graduates cum laude

LEWISTON, N.Y. — Nigel Stearns, son of Thom and Laura Stearns, of Dallas, graduated cum laude from Niagara University with a bachelor of science degree in finance from the College of Business Administration. Stearns, who is a four-year student athlete, is named to the MAAC Conference All Academic Team for 2018. He will be working for Citizen’s Bank in Boston, Mass., in its Licensed Relationship Banker Program.

BOSTON, MASS. — Anthony A. Khoudary, of Dallas, has was named to the dean’s list at Boston University for the spring semester.

Schulman recieves degree

BOSTON, MASS. — Rebecca Schulman, of Kingston Township, earned a bachelor of science in Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from Boston University in May.

Tidey named to the dean’s honor list

GETTYSBURG — Nora Tidey, of Dallas, has been named to the Gettysburg College dean’s honor list for the spring 2018 semester.

BOSTON, MASS. — Michael Glicini, of Dallas, recently earned a Master of Science in Education from Simmons College in Boston.

FROSTBURG, MD — Corey McAndrew, of Dallas, was named to the dean’s list at Frostburg State University for the spring 2018 semester.

READING — Leah M. Benedetti, of Dalla,s earned a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Alvernia University.

CLEMSON, SC — Talia Nicole Szatkowski, of Shavertown, has been named to the president’s list at Clemson University for the spring 2018 semester. She is majoring in Animal and Veterinary Science.

Two named to RIT dean’s list

ROCHESTER, NY — Colton Brown, of Tunkhannock, and Justin Raspen, of Dallas, have been named to the dean’s list at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring 2018 semester.

Brown is in the computing security program and Raspen is in the mechanical engineering program.

Yagloski enrolls at RIT

ROCHESTER, NY — Kyle Yagloski, of Wyoming, son of Jeff Yagloski and Rachel Yagloski, has enrolled for the 2018-2019 academic year at Rochester Institute of Technology. A 2018 graduate of Dallas High School, he is in the software engineering (MS) program.

Nardone named to dean’s list

Madison G. Nardone, of Shavertown, has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business for the spring 2018 semester.
