DALLAS — Cub Scout Pack 281 of Dallas participated in various activities over the holiday season.

The Scouts were involved in bell ringing for the Salvation Army, caroling at the Meadows along with the Boy Scouts and collecting toys for the Toys for Tots program.

According to some of what the Scout law reads, a Scout is helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, cheerful and reverent. By participating in these activities, Scouts practice these important qualities along with valuable life lessons.

At the December pack meeting, three Marines were in attendance to accept the toys and inspect each Scout’s Class A uniform for proper dress code.
