Nick Nocito helped Dallas to pair of boys basketball victories in three days.

Nocito and Austin Finarelli led a comeback Tuesday when Dallas defeated North Pocono, 62-61. Jack Farrell and Nocito then led the offense Thursday in a 57-43 victory over Delaware Valley.

The Mountaineers, who opened the season with three straight home games, are off to a 2-1 start.

Nocito had 12 of his game-high 18 points while Dallas was overcoming a seven-point halftime deficit against North Pocono.

Finarelli added 14 points, including the winning basket on a tip-in with about 15 seconds left.

Farrell also scored 13 points in the win, then had a game-high 15 against Delaware Valley.

Nocito had 13 in the latest win.

The Mountaineers lost their opener, 70-65, Dec. 7 against Boys Latin of Philadelphia. Football starters Farrell, Dylan Schuster and Luke Del Gaudio all had just one day to prepare after playing in the state championship game.

Tunkhannock

Tunkhannock has won three straight since dropping its opener in the Joseph Nespoli Tournament at Berwick.

Ryan Harder hit five 3-pointers Wednesday while scoring 21 points in a 51-22 rout of visiting Elk Lake.

The Tigers also rolled at Lackawanna Trail, 46-28, Monday when Harder had 17 points. Jack Chilson added 10.

Tunkhannock defeated Berwick, 43-22, for third place at the Nespoli Tournament Dec. 7 after losing to East Stroudsburg South, 58-41, the night before.

Lake-Lehman

Lake-Lehman is off to an 0-2 start, dropping a pair of home games.

The Black Knights lost to Crestwood, 87-44, and Nanticoke, 64-54.
