Colton Smith went 4-for-4 to lead the Pirates to victory. Greyson Dieffenbacher, Chris Sholtis, Brady Zapoticky and winning pitcher Ben Wickenheiser all added at least two hits. Carter Brunn, Nick Salsburg and Brady Youngblood had hits for the Pirates.
Giants 13
Cardinals 2
Sam Finarelli struck out seven in a two-hitter while going 4-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and four RBI. Zach Williams added three hits and three RBI. Ryan Miller had two hits and two RBI, Bryce Casey had two RBI and Sam Steinruck scored four times. Connor Healey had a single and a run scored for the Cardinals.
