The Back Mountain-based Northeast Riverdawgs travel baseball team won the Future Stars Player Appreciation Tournament Aug. 26-27 in Hershey.
Nick Finarelli and Will Youngman combined on a three-hitter when the Riverdawgs beat the Niagara-Orleans Privateers from New York State in the championship game.
Playing against other 13- and 14-year-old travel teams from New York, Maryland and Pennsylvania, the Riverdawgs went 4-0 and outscored their opponents by a total of 40-11.
Austin Finarelli, Ty Federici, Nick Nocito and Evan Zawadzki had two hits each in the championship game.
The Riverdawgs have four more fall tournaments on their schedule.
