Dallas graduate Regan Rome won the Colonial Athletic Association Championships in women’s cross country by more than 13 seconds Oct. 29 to lead William & Mary to its fifth straight conference title.

Rome finished the 6,000-meter course in 21:12.64.

The junior, who is already an All-American in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track, has been William & Mary’s top runner throughout this season. She is ranked as the nation’s number-25 women’s cross country runner by Flo Track/Saucony Flo50.

William & Mary had four of the top seven finishers to defeat James Madison, 34-47, for the team title.
