WILKES-BARRE — Michael Shutlock of Shavertown, was commissioned and received the rank of second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Shutlock graduated in Wilkes Uniersity’s spring commencement with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He will be stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, where he will be trained to become a development engineer.
