SCRANTON — Ryan Kozloski, of Harveys Lake, was among six medical students at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (GCSOM) who presented research at the Cleveland Clinic’s 15th annual Clinical Research Conference April 29-30. The conference featured 20 oral research presentations, 50 poster presentations and a dozen research workshops.

The goal of the conference is to disseminate research findings and evidence-based information to clinicians who will use the new knowledge to replicate studies, translate findings to improve patient care quality, safety and outcomes, and to improve evidence-based infrastructure and processes. The focus is on building a capacity for scientific inquiry among attendees, which included healthcare practitioners clinically active or engaged in clinical research that improves outcomes or enhances patient adherence to self-care.

Kozloski, a membersof the Class of 2021, presented his research, “Albuterol Use in the Setting of Heart Failure” at the poster session.
