DALLAS — Effie Marshall, a resident of The Village at Greenbriar, celebrated her 101st birthday on March 5 at a party held in her honor. Effie grew up in Kingston and studied at Wilkes College. She worked at United Penn Bank for 47 years where she served as the first female CEO and vice president.
