DALLAS — In honor of Presidents Day, first-graders at Wycallis Elementary sang and performed a variety of patriotic songs on Feb. 15. Under the instruction of music teacher Mrs. Pike, students sang historic tunes such as “Yankee Doodle Dandy” and “God Bless America.” Along with singing, students played instruments, waved their flags and some even dressed the part of patriotism, appearing as Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and Uncle Sam.
