DALLAS TWP. — The Dallas High School Class of 1965 celebrated its 50th anniversary reunion on the weekend of July 24-25.
Sixth-three classmates, along with their spouses and significant others, shared a casual evening at the AppleTree Terrace at Newberry Estate on Friday night. Saturday morning they toured the new high school and then enjoyed a farewell lunch at the Grotto at Harveys Lake.
The class would like to publicly thank teacher Jonathan Saba for providing us with a tour of the new school and updated sports field.
The class plans to meet on the second Saturday in September each year at the Grotto.
The Dallas High School Class of 1965 donated food items to the Back Mountain Food Pantry, and there were 50-50 drawings to benefit the pantry and the Back Mountain Memorial Library.
All members of the class and their friends are invited to gather at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 for a casual lunch at the Grotto, Harveys Lake. For more information, call Diana Berry at 570-675-0167.
