DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. For participants age 60+ a $2.00 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of Oct. 26:

MONDAY: Baked spaghetti, minestrone soup, (no pasta in soup), tossed salad, pineapple fluff, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Herb baked fish, scalloped potatoes, garlic spinach, whole wheat dinner roll, fresh orange, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken with broccoli and bell peppers, gingered carrots, steamed brown rice, chocolate cake, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Roast beef, peas and cauliflower, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, apple bread pudding, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Masquerade Day Special Dinner – Sliced porketta, mashed potatoes, snap peas, whole wheat roll, Black Forest cake, milk and coffee.
