Volunteer Appreciation Week at the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was celebrated to honor the more than 100 community spirited people who help at the center. The volunteers were recently acknowledged at a luncheon held at Apple Tree Terrace at Newberry Estate to thank them for sharing over 10,000 hours with the residents this past year. Certificates of Appreciation and gifts were presented to each volunteer. Special awards were given to volunteers who have generously given 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service.
