The Dallas Lions Club recently made a donation of $800 to the Back Mountain Food Pantry. The club made the donation at this time so the pantry could have additional funds on hand to replenish its supplies for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. The food pantry serves approximately 150 clients in the area of the Dallas and Lake-Lehman School Districts. It is an all-volunteer organization which accepts non-perishable food items and cash donations and is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. The pantry is located at 40 Knob Hill Road in Trucksville. Making the presentation on behalf of the club is Lion President Dave Keating.
