HARVEYS LAKE — In observance of Earth Day, Harveys Lake Borough will hold a document shredding event for residents on Saturday, April 27 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the borough parking lot, at 4875 Memorial Highway. Do not drop off items prior to the event.
Residents should remove garbage containers from the curb after pick-up. Do NOT leave them on the roadside. PLEASE PRACTICE CLEAN RECYCLING – wash recyclable items prior to putting them out for pick-up.
Harveys Lake Borough will hold its annual Spring Clean-up on Monday, May 6. Items must be at least three feet away from garbage containers. Items that will NOT be picked up are: electronics (including TVs, computers, monitors, printers, etc.), tires, batteries, oils and paints (unless kitty litter is added to the paint); and brush, leaves and limbs. Appliances will be picked up, but any freon must be removed and a sticker from a refrigeration expert must be on the item.
