DALLAS TWP. — Dallas Education Association leader gave the Dallas School District superintendent a second notice to strike in February.

District Solicitor Vito DeLuca said on the first day back to school following a 22-day teachers’ strike, DEA President Michael Cherinka handed Superintendent Thomas Duffy a notice of the intent to strike on Feb. 27.

“This is a dynamic situation,” DeLuca said. “You can’t plan for it.

“Strikes are meant to disrupt.”
