WILKES-BARRE — Downtown restaurant Letts Eat — Flavors of India donated lunch to city police and the Mayor’s Office on Friday as a gesture of goodwill during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, as the attached photos show.

“Our way of appreciating all that you do,” the restaurant posted on its Facebook page. “Thank you for keeping our community safe.”

The popular Indian eatery, located on South Main Street, had been closed for business since March 23, but is now offering take-out and delivery on Thursdays through Sundays from noon to 7 p.m.
