Dallas, Lake-Lehman and Tunkhannock each had two individual champions Feb. 7 in the Wyoming Valley Conference Junior High Wrestling Championships at Pittston Area.
Matt Maransky and Steve Newell won titles at 100 and 145 pounds to help Dallas place third in the team standings.
The Mountaineers had 154 points to finish behind Crestwood (187.5) and Wyoming Area (168). Liam Farrell (80) and Mitchell Rome (85) each reached the finals and finished second.
Lake-Lehman’s Dylan Meehan improved to 21-0 on the season while winning his second straight title. Kaleb Konigus won at 250.
The Black Knights were fifth out of 14 teams with 127 points.
David Evans, a Tunkhannock seventh-grader, improved to 26-0, the best record of any wrestler in the tournament while winning at 80 pounds. Ethan Munley won at 75 pounds.
The Tigers placed sixth with 114 points. Gavin D’Amato (90) and Eddie Melan (95) placed second.
