DALLAS — Residents of the Elmcrest development in Dallas held a community yard sale on May 2.
Maggie Smith, 7, a resident of the development, sold lemonade and water for $1 with the intent to donate the proceeds to Blue Chip Farms Animal Refuge.
Maggie raised made $61 selling the lemonade and water and then also donated $40 she made from selling some of her toys. She was so excited to present Marge Bart, director of Blue Chip Farms, with a donation of $101 on May 3.
