KOPEN GRADUATES
Derek Kopen, of Shavertown, received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., at its 168th commencement ceremony on May 13.
TWO EARN DEAN’S AWARDS
Mary Gilligan, of Dallas, and Casey Hampsey, of Tunkhannock, were recipients of the Dean’s Award for academic excellence during the 2013 spring term at Colgate University.
To be eligible for the Dean’s Award, a Colgate student must achieve a minumum 3.30 average while enrolled in at least four courses.
A graduating member of the Colgate class of 2013, Gilligan is a Environmental Geology major at Colgate and is a graduate of Dallas Senior High School.
A graduating member of the Colgate class of 2013, Hampsey is a English major at Colgate and is a graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School.
TWO GRADUATE FROM RIT
Michael Rutalis, of Dallas, and Catherine Sullivan, of Lehman, have graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in the spring 2013 quarter.
Rutalis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in packaging science from RIT’s College of Applied Science and Technology.
Sullivan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and computational mathematics (double major) from RIT’s B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences5.
