TRUCKSVILLE — The Trucksville United Methodist Church, 21 W. Church Road, recently welcomed 14 new members into membership after they completed their confirmation journey.
The students attended confirmation classes and a confirmation retreat with their mentors at the Pocono Mountain Bible Conference. Ultimately, confirmands made a decision to become full-time church family members and leaders committed to the chuch’s mission: Making Disciples – Making a Difference!
Rev. Dick Williams and Pastor Ian Hastings officiated at confirmation. Mentors were Nadine Blannett, Rev. Ken Carder, Kristyn Ecenrode, Carol Hadsall, Crys Jennings, John Kozokas, Diane Long, Rob Mattson, Staci Miller, Madelyn Roote, Debbie Shilanski, Janette Smith, Tracy Schwartz, Barry Wagner and Pam Williams.
