Calligraphy, watercolor and illustrations by Abbey Gillette at Back Mountain library

DALLAS – Abbey Gillette, of Scott, will display her calligraphy, watercolors, illustrations and wedding stationary at the Back Mountain Memorial Library, 96 Huntsville Road, during the month of May.

Gillette has been in business as StoneFawx Studios for the past three years but her creative career began long before then as a graphic designer and artist. As a designer first, she always had the interest of combining fine art and lettering techniques but took the next steps to learning the calligraphy and lettering portion when she began designing luxury wedding invitations.

Gillette states she is inspired by each client. Each piece is commissioned where she spends time getting to know what the client is like, what they find important and what they need. She likes to include personal information into every piece. You can purchase her work directly from her website stonefawxstudios.com or email her at abbey@stonefawxstudios.com.
