DALLAS TWP. — Linh Nguyen has been appointed manager of the Office of Multicultural and Inclusion Initiatives at Misericordia University. She most recently held the position of assistant director for the Office of Identity and Inclusion at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.
Her experience includes helping create and implement educational, social and developmental initiatives focused on identity and inclusion for students, faculty and staff. She also provided oversight of mentoring programs and networking opportunities for underrepresented students. She previously served as student life coordinator at Bellarmine.
In her new role, Linh will assist in the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives that promote multiculturalism and inclusion within Misericordia University. She will focus on creating and maintaining strong connections with other offices, departments and colleagues working on intersections of culture, identity and social justice. In addition, she will work closely with students across the institution to ensure that Misericordia is an inclusive and supportive environment that promotes respect for all people.
A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Linh holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in student affairs administration in higher education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She also has completed graduate work in sociology and research at the University of Louisville, Kentucky.
