Maggie Blazick and Tom Tarrant wed

Maggie Blazick and Tom Tarrant were united in marriage at an evening ceremony on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at Knowlton Mansion, Philadelphia, by friend and officiant Justin Klugh.

The bride is the daughter of Leonard and Sharon Blazick, Elkins Park. She is the granddaughter of Mary Blazick and the late Leonard Blazick, Kingston and the late Ann and Ray Weale, Kingston.

The groom is the son of Thomas H. and Marguerite Tarrant, Mountain Top. He is the grandson of Anne and the late Edward Langan, Wilkes-Barre and the late Bernard J. and Lorraine McCole, Wilkes-Barre.

The bride is a graduate of Abington High School, Abington. The groom is a graduate of E. L. Meyers Jr./Sr. High School, Wilkes-Barre. Both the bride and groom are graduates of Temple University, Philadelphia. Maggie is employed by the City of Philadelphia and Tom is employed by the State of Pennsylvania.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose her friends, Molly Morlock, as maid of honor and Allison Berry as bridesmaid.

The groom chose his friends, Alex Metz as best man, Nick Cliver, Scott Iseman and Jack Pacuska, as groomsmen.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Dylan Blazick, brother of the bride. A personal reading was written and read by Justine Tarrant, sister of the groom.

The bride and groom were honored at a couples wedding shower hosted by the parents of the bride at their home. The bride was also honored at a bridal shower given by the mother of the groom at her home. The parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Brick House Tavern + Tap, Willow Grove. An evening cocktail hour and reception took place after the ceremony at Knowlton Mansion, Philadelphia.

Following a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple resides in Philadelphia with their dog, Wilma.
