Emma Burger and Sam Michaels led the way Thursday when Dallas swept visiting MMI Prep, 25-18, 25-22, in a Wyoming Valley Conference girls volleyball match.
Dallas became one of five WVC teams at 2-0 to start the season.
Burger had 13 service points, including six on aces, along with a team-high 24 assists. Michaels had 13 kills, nine digs and six points.
Gianna Musto added nine kills, eight digs and seven points.

Logan Paczewski shot 1-under-par, 35 at Edgewood-in-the-Pines and WVC AAA Division 1 leader Dallas improved to 6-0.
Brett Ostroski added a 36 while Kyle McAndrew and Colin Bowanko each shot 39s.

Megan NcNeeley had a goal and an assist for Dallas as the game between two of WVC Division 1’s three 2-0 teams wound up being tied through two overtimes.
Christina Schappert and Kanisha Cheshire scored consecutive second-half goals to give Dallas a 3-2 lead, but Crestwood rallied to tie with 4:13 left in regulation.
