Tunkhannock and host Lake-Lehman went 2-0 in both boys and girls cross country during a Wyoming Valley Conference cluster meet Wednesday.

Abby Paczewski from Lake-Lehman won the girls race, completing the 3.1-mile course in 20:15 to lead the 18-39 victory over Pittston Area and a 15-50 win over Wilkes-Barre Area.

Teammate Madison Brdaric was second.

Tunkhannock topped Pittston Area, 24-31, and Wilkes-Barre Area, 15-50, with Madelyn Franko, Kailyn Smith and Camryn Rogers placing fourth, fifth and sixth in the five-team meet.

Lake-Lehman is 4-0 in both girls and boys, behind only 5-0 Holy Redeemer in both.

Chander Longstreth, Nick Hockenbury and Michael Serafin took the next three places behind winner Tavian McKenna from Wyoming Valley West for the Lake-Lehman boys.

The Black Knights defeated Pittston Area, 19-42, and Wilkes-Barre Area, 15-48.

Tunkhannock posted wins of 27-31 over Pittston Area and 21-39 over Wilkes-Barre Area.

Both Tunkhannock teams are 2-2.

Dallas had its meet postponed because of weather.

The Dallas girls are 2-0, joining Hazleton Area in a tie for third place.
