Brett Ostroski, Logan Paczewski finish 1-2 in AGA

Brett Ostroski, of Shavertown, and Logan Paczewski, of Dallas, finished first and second when the Anthracite Golf Association Junior Tour held its Tournament of Champions Monday at Fox Hill Country Club and Tuesday at Huntsville Golf Club.

Ostroski came from behind Tuesday to finish 2-over-par, 145 to put his name on the Art Wall Jr Trophy.

Paczewski, the 2017 champion, finished two shots behind after his 73 at Huntsville tied for the best score on the tournament’s second day.

Shane Angle shot 69 and Brett Wagner 70 to lead the way at Fox Hill.

Ostroski started with an even-par, 71 at Fox Hill, then took the title with a 74 at Huntsville.

Paczewski’s 74-73—147 put him two shots in front of Alex Pillar from Hawley.

Bobby Lugiano from Jackson Twp. finished 10th with 74-81—155.

Cooper Kelly from Dallas was 13th and Tyler Faux from Falls was 19th in the 21-player field that qualified for the event based on performances during the AGA’s Lawler Junior Tour regular season.
