DALLAS TWP. — Brett Ostroski, of Shavertown, won the first AGA/GAP Lawler Junior Golf Tournament of the 2018 season by shooting a one over par 73 at Irem Country Club.

Alex Pillar, of Woodloch, Springs finished second with a 74 and Jeremy Harper, of Mountaintop, finished third with an 80.

Forty-two golfers from throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania competed in the boys 16-18 year old division of this tournament.

Logan Paczewski, of Shavertown, then won the second AGA/GAF Lawler Junior Golf Tournament of the season by shooting a three under par 69 at Scranton Municipal Golf Club. Ostroski had a strong showing in this tournament also and shot a 74 to finish second.

Cooper Kelly, of Dallas, also competed in this tournament and shot a 76 to finish third. Forty-five golfers from throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania competed in the boys 16-18 year old division of this tournament.
