Lake-Lehman graduate Patrick McGrath was one of four players signed by the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, according to a recent announcement by the American Hockey League team.
McGrath, a forward from Shavertown, scored two goals and had 95 penalty minutes in 19 games. The first northeastern Pennsylvania native to play for the Penguins, McGrath has seven points in 70 career games since signing with the team in a professional tryout contract in December, 2014.
Defenseman Will O’Neill and forwards Ryan Haggerty and Cam Brown were also signed.
