Dallas swimmer Annalise Cheshire will attend Denison University

Dallas High School athlete Annalise Cheshire attend Denison University in the fall to major in Biology on the pre-medicine track in hopes of working in emergency medicine. She will also be a member of the Denison swim team. Cheshire was a member of the Dallas four-time district championship swim team. She was also named the Wyoming Valley PIAA Swim Officials Swimmer of the Year in 2015. She competed in the state championships in 50 freestyle, 100 backstroke, won seven district championship medals and four District silver medals. She holds the Dallas School District record in 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Peer Helpers Club and Junior Leadership Wilkes Barre. She was also a member of the district champion soccer team and a member of the track and cross country team.
