Ben Robinson from Lehman finished seventh overall and won the male 19-24-year-old division April 8 at the fifth annual Scranton Half Marathon.
Robinson finished the 13.1-mile course in 1:12:31.15.
Joyce Foster from Dallas won the female 60-64 division in 1:53.50.58.
Robinson was one of five Back Mountain runners to place in the top 100 out of 2,044 who completed the race.
Suleman Shifa from Alexandria, Va. was first overall while Heidi Peoples from South Abington Twp. was the first woman, repeating the winning combination from 2016. The women’s title was the fourth for Peoples, who finished second a year ago.
Sean Robbins and Eric Shaver from Dallas, along with Roger Kidd and Adam Edwards from Tunkhannock, all made the top 100.
Robbins was 4th overall and third among men 45-59 in 1:26:53.71. Shaver was 56th overall and 10th among men 25-29.
Kidd was 79th and Edwards 96th overall while they placed seventh and ninth in the male 40-44 division.
Lisa Flanders from Dallas and Annet Kaminski from Shavertown were each third in their age groups.
Flanders was third in the women’s 50-54 group while Kaminski was third among women 55-59.
