lison Francis had five goals and two assists as Dallas routed Hazleton Area, 9-0, Monday in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 girls soccer game.

Francis did all the scoring when the Mountaineers were taking a 4-0 lead in the first half.

Emma Sweitzer added two goals and two assists.

The teams of Reese Lewandowski-Caroline Stallard and Liz Mead-Hailey Sobocinski allowed Dallas to sweep doubles and pull out the WVC win.

Gianna Musto had 11 kills while Emma Berger provided 24 assists, 15 service points and eight aces in the 25-18, 25-12, 25-12 sweep that allowed Dallas to remain unbeaten in the WVC going into Wednesday’s match at rival Lake-Lehman.

Musto also had five points and four digs.

Samantha Miller had 13 points with the help of four aces. Megan Sebastianelli had seven points and six digs.

Makenzie Barker and Jess Salus had nine kills each as Lake-Lehman rallied for a 23-25, 25-22, 20-25, 25-16, 15-10 win.
