TUNKHANNOCK — Equines for Freedom will hold the third annual Golf Tournament at Stone Hedge Golf Course on Sept. 8.
The tournament generates funds to give free help to veterans and first responders who struggle with post traumatic stress. EFF uses a unique non-traditional therapy that teams up a veteran with a horse, called a “battle buddy,” in a serene private setting.
The equine method is the number one therapy in the country for PTS. The service is offered free of charge and is 100 percent confidential.
Golfers may register online at equinesforfreedom.org. Non-golfers who wish to support this cause may sponsor holes or make donations by mailing a check to Equines for Freedom, PO Box 53, Factoryville, PA. 18419.
