DALLAS — The Dallas Harvest Festival Committee is looking for fresh faces and ideas to join in planning for the long running annual event, tentatively scheduled to take place on Sunday, Sept. 15 on the Dallas High School campus.

Due to dwindling membership over the course of 15 years, the committee is now in dire need of additional volunteers to help with planning and event day preparation for the festival. Monthly meetings typically begin in March and run through September. Unfortunately, without an increase in volunteerism for this year’s event, the festival may no longer be held.

In an effort to entice perspective volunteers, Ccmmittee members will be on-hand to answer questions and/or share insights into the various sub-committees needing help. The Meet & Greet will take place at 6;30 p.m. Monday, April 15 in the (new) Dallas Township Building Conference Room, 105 Lt. Michael Cleary Drive. Refreshments will be served.
