DALLAS — The Back Mountain Memorial Library, 96 Huntsville Road, will host a special story hour at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10 as part of the “PA One Book, Every Young Child” early literacy initiative. The 2018 selection for this program is “My Cousin Momo” by Zachariah OHora. Momo is a flying squirrel who takes a trip to visit his cousins. His cousins soon discover Momo is very different from any squirrel they have ever met before. Come to find out what happens next.

Caregivers of children 6 years of age or under can call the library at 570-675-1182 or stop by to register for this special event. Jean Grube will read, sing, dance and have fun with participants. Each family will receive a paperback copy of the book, stickers and a brochure to enable parents and caregivers to continue the promotion of early literacy with their children at home.

This program is made possible by collaboration among various Pennsylvania education agencies and administered by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries. For more information, go to www.paonebook.org.
