DALLAS — As part of the Christian Education program, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church has started AsOne, a series of discussions designed for adults of all ages. These free presentations take place monthly during the Sunday School hour and deal with a Christian view of both contemporary and wellness issues.

The presenters are St.Paul’s members Linda Keck and Frank Mariano.

Keck is a Licensed Psychologist in private practice working with children, adolescents and adults. As an artist and art therapist, she often uses art therapy in her work as a psychotherapist and school based clinical consultant.

Mariano currently serves as a consultant to the ALL (Autism for Lifelong Learning) program at Misericordia University and previously as Director of Special Education at the Dallas School District. He has developed two private licensed schools for special needs students and has presented at numerous conferences on topics such as mental health and behavioral issues.

Previous discussions included “Human Trafficking” and “The Survival of the Kindest:How to Live a Compassionate Life.”

Upcoming topics that will be discussed are “Grandparents Raising Grandchildren” at 9:45 a.m. March 19 followed by “Autism” at 9:45 a.m. April 23. The one-hour discussions will take place in the church social hall and refreshments will be served.

Call St. Paul’s at 570-675-3859 with questions or the church website stpaulsdallaspa.org for additional information.
