The chance for snow will stick around the Wyoming Valley through the end of the week, but high accumulations are not expected.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 34 degrees as of 5:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and mixed precipitation was reported.

The Hazleton Area School District is under a 2-hour delay today.

Rain and snow are likely before 7 a.m. today, and mostly cloudy skies are expected for the rest of the day. Less than half an inch of total snow accumulation is expected, and the high will be near 43.

Mostly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 29.

Thursday will bring mostly cloudy skies, along with a slight chance of snow showers after noon. The high will be near 39.

Mostly cloudy skies will carry over into Thursday night, along with a slight chance of snow showers before 9 p.m. The low will be around 24.

Partly sunny skies will round out the week on Friday, along with a slight chance of snow showers. The high will be near 33.

Partly cloudy skies will follow into Friday night, with a low around 20.
