Clear skies are expected over the next few days in the Wyoming Valley, but rain is possible as the week comes to an end.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 37 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.

Sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 47. Clear skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 27.

Sunny skies are once again predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 59. Partly cloudy skies will follow into Wednesday night, with a low around 42.

Showers will be likely on Thursday, but no precipitation amounts have been predicted. The high will be near 65.

Showers will continue to be likely into Thursday night, with a low around 53.
