DALLAS —Three Guys Pizza, located at 11 Garbutt Ave., purchased the former King Neptune lot, according to manager Joey Costello on Monday.

King Neptune closed its doors on Friday, June 30, after 57 years of operation. Bob and Lynda Sorber, the owners of King Neptune, cited changing business and customer trends for the eatery’s closure.

Three Guys Pizza is located next to the former fish take-out restaurant.

During an interview with the Sorbers last week they said they heard rumblings that the owners of Three Guys Pizza were interested in the property to construct a larger parking lot.

Costello, who was preparing to accommodate Three Guys Pizza’s lunch crowd on Monday, was unavailable to confirm the intent of the property purchase.
