The good news weather-wise this morning in the Wyoming Valley? It’s gloriously sunny.

The bad news? It’s cold. Very cold.

At 9 a.m., it was 14 degrees at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with a wind chill of 4. According to the National Weather Service, we’re on our way to a high today of 33 — with sunny skies — and a low tonight of 20 (partly cloudy).

On Monday, the weather service predicts it will be partly sunny during the day, with a high of 48. At night it will drop to 40, with a 20 to 50 percent chance of showers.

Rain is likely all day Tuesday; the weather service predicts a 70 percent chance. The high is expected to be 54 and the low 35.
