SHAVERTOWN – The Social Justice Committee of St. Therese’s Church will present “It’s A Family Matter: Living With Advanced Illness, Dying Well and the Importance of Talking about It with Family” at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 14.

The guest speaker will be Daniel Davis, PhD, director of bioethics at Geisinger Health System. This is a must attend event for anyone living with chronic illness, their family members or anyone (young or old) interested in advanced directives.

This one-­‐hour program focuses on the importance of family conversations in the context of advanced chronic illness; difficult, but necessary conversations about living and dying well.

The program will be held in Fr. Sammons Hall located in the church basement. It is free and open to the public.
