UGI continues to conduct damage assessment across its Electric Division service territory. Restoration activities are fully underway. UGI has multiple crews working on restoring power to affected communities. UGI crews commenced efforts as dangerous wind conditions abated.
UGI Electric Division customers experiencing a power outage should call UGI at 800-276-2722, or may report an outage at www.ugi.com/outages. Customers can also check the Outage Center for the most recent outage information. UGI Electric Division requests an outage report be made one time, so Customer Service Representatives can address all customer calls as promptly as possible.
Safety is a priority at UGI. We remind customers and community members to always avoid downed power lines and stay away from any electrical equipment that is partially or totally submerged in water. In the event of an electrical emergency, customers are advised to contact UGI Electric immediately.
For those affected by electric outages, emergency shelters within the UGI ?? Electric Division service territory have been opened by the American Red Cross ?? Northeast PA Region at Dallas High School, 2000 Conyngham Avenue, Dallas; and Luzerne County Community College, 1333 South Prospect Street, Nanticoke.
If you depend on electric-powered medical equipment for life-support for yourself or a family member, we recommend that you purchase a back-up power supply or arrange a plan to stay with family or friends.
If you are a residential customer with special needs and have an emergency, please contact your regional 911 center. Special needs customers calling UGI to report an outage should identify themselves as such to the customer service representative. UGI can provide information to assist you in connecting to your local 911 center.
UGI will be fully staffed 24/7 in our Customer Service center and in the field to deal with power outages as quickly as possible.
