Emily Jonsson, a freshman from Clarks Summit, was a double winner at the Raise A Racquet For Children's Advocacy Center Tennis Championships at Birchwood Tennis & Fitness Club in Clarks Summit.

Jonsson won both the Girls 16-Under and 18-Under divisions without dropping a set.

In the G16s, she defeated Madison Nardone, of Dallas, 6-1, 6-0, who won a dramatic match in the semi final against Emilia Jakubek, of Honesdale.

After losing the first set, 1-6, Nardone found her game and won the second set, 6-1, then the match tie – breaker, 10-2.
