The Pennsylvania State Police has issued an Amber Child Abduction Alert for the Philadelphia Police Department.

At about 8:50 this morning, Nailla Robinson, 5 years old, 40 inches tall, 35 pounds,  medium skin tone, brown eyes and black curly hair, was abducted from the Bryant School located at 6001 Cedar Ave., Philadelphia.

She was abducted by a female wearing black Muslim-style clothing. The abductor's direction of travel and method of transportation are unknown.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police by dialing 911.

Lt. John Walker told the Philadelphia Daily News that the woman who took the girl introduced herself as Tiffany, but her signature in the school visitor log was illegible.

Police discovered that the girl was missing at about 3 p.m. Monday when a caretaker from the child's after-school program came to pick her up.

School district spokesman Francisco Gallard said there appeared to have been a serious break in procedure.

Police said the child didn't appear to believe she was in any danger, but she's often picked up by different people.
