Dallas grad Regan Rome lowers career-best time at William & Mary Invitational in Williamsburg, Va. Sept. 16

Regan Rome keeps finding a way to get better at William & Mary.

The Dallas graduate and Division I collegiate All-American lowered her career-best for a 5K cross country course with consecutive wins.

Rome dropped her career-best from 17:44 to 17:31.3 to win the William & Mary Invitational in Williamsburg, Va. Sept. 16.

The junior then led a strong field at the Panorama Farms Invitational with a time of 17:01.1, which was 3.5 seconds ahead of Annie Bothma from Coastal Carolina.

Rome led William & Mary to a fifth-place finish at Panorama Farms with three of the four teams ahead of the Tribe nationally ranked.

BYU, which is ranked 19th, won with 47 points.

Southern Methodist was second with 89, No. 16 Syracuse third and No. 14 Virginia fourth.
