DALLAS TWP. — Misericordia University Office of Residence Life and the Cougars baseball team will team up to offer an afternoon of Halloween fun for area youngsters on Sunday, Oct. 29.

Events include Halloween in the Halls, which is a safe trick-or-treating event complete with a Trick-or-Treat Fair, and a Halloween Baseball Game.

The fourth annual Halloween Baseball Game will start at 2 p.m. at Tambur Field. The event is geared for children ages 7-12 years old. To participate, youngsters must wear a costume, no baseball uniforms and parents need to remain on site for the entire game.

The Cougars baseball team players will be dressed in costume and organize the free game.

Registration for trick-or-treating is in the Anderson Sports and Health Center, located adjacent to the parking lot just inside the North Gate of campus. Misericordia University student guides will escort the children to the participating residence halls.

Residence Life also is sponsoring a Trick-or-Treat Fair from 3 to 5 p.m. that will provide a variety of Halloween-themed activities for children, including various crafts and activities. The fair will be located inside the Anderson Sports and Health Center.
