DASLLAS — Sara DeRosa, 12, daughter of Todd and Cindy DeRosa, of Dallas, will display her Ty Beanie Baby collection at the Back Mountain Memorial Library throughout the month of May.

DeRosa, a sixth-grader at Lehman-Jackson Elementary School, has been collecting her Beanie Babies for three years.

“Some Beanie Babies can be a lot of money,” DeRosa said of her collection. “I collect Beanie Babies because they are cute, and I love stuffed animals.”

When asked which Beanie Baby in her collection is her favorite, DeRosa seemed undecided. “Whisper the Fawn. She is adorable! Also Velvet the Panther. I like all cats. And all the rest are my favorites!”

Members of the community are invited to see DeRosa’s Beanie Baby collection throughout the entire month of May at the Back Mountain Memorial Library, 196 Huntsville Road.
