The morning clouds will break into a partly sunny day over the Wyoming Valley.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 63 degrees at 7 a.m. Wednesday at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.

A light wind will usher in mid-80 degree temperatures during the day today into this afternoon, when clouds return and the temperature dips to 61.

Sun and an expected temperature of 84 degrees will trend through Thursday and Friday as the weekend comes near. The first threat of rain will be Friday night into Saturday morning when thunderstorms roll through.
